WideBot

WideBot is a Cairo, Egypt-founded AI-as-a-service company that builds Arabic-dialect conversational AI for governments and enterprises across the MENA region. It was founded in late 2016 by Mohamed Nabil and Ahmed Labib, initially as a no-code English chatbot builder before pivoting to focus on Arabic dialects, positioning itself as one of the first Arabic-focused bot-building platforms in the region. Its current product suite includes a large language model tuned for Arabic, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), OCR, text-to-speech and speech-to-text, sentiment analysis, and entity extraction, delivered through products such as an omnichannel inbox, WhatsApp Business API integration, AI voice agents, and digital human avatars. Customers use these tools to automate customer support, sales, marketing, and operations workflows. WideBot has raised a Pre-Series A round and continues to expand its product line, including a 2025 launch of an AI voice agent for WhatsApp business calls.
