Whyise
Impact-analytics software that helps organizations track and report their social and environmental impact.

Whyise is an impact-analytics platform founded in 2018 in Amman, Jordan, by Reem Khouri and Eyad Hodiani. It lets nonprofits, foundations and businesses aggregate data from sources such as surveys, spreadsheets and APIs, then track performance in real time against indicators mapped to frameworks including the UN Sustainable Development Goals, IFC ESG performance standards and GRI. The platform automates reporting and produces dashboards and visualizations meant to increase transparency and support evidence-based decisions on social, environmental and economic return. Reported users include Ruwwad, an Amman-based community development nonprofit, and UNICEF programs. Whyise raised a six-figure USD seed round led by Amman-based accelerator/VC Propeller with participation from investors including ISSF-linked backers, Wamda Capital, Beyond Capital and angel investors, and it was recognized by the World Economic Forum in 2019 among 100 Arab startups shaping the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
