Velents
AI agent platform automating recruitment, support and operations for Arabic-speaking enterprises.

Velents is an AI startup with joint Egyptian-Saudi roots that builds AI agents for enterprises and government bodies. It began in 2020 as an AI-based hiring platform combining an applicant tracking system with candidate assessments (screening, personality tests, code tests, automated video interviews and a recruiting chatbot) designed to cut hiring time. In 2023 it broadened into a wider AI agent platform covering customer support, sales, financial processing and other operational workflows, marketed heavily around Arabic-language (including Gulf dialect) support. In October 2025 Velents raised $1.5 million in funding and launched Agent.sa, which it describes as the first fully Arabic-speaking AI employee for enterprises in the Middle East, backed by angel investors including executives from Google and BCG. The company was founded by Mohamed Gaber and Abdulaziz Almuhaydib; press coverage and third-party profiles describe it inconsistently as Cairo-founded and/or Riyadh-headquartered, reflecting its dual Egypt-Saudi presence.
