UPayments is a Kuwait-based digital payment company founded in 2016 and licensed by the Central Bank of Kuwait as a Large Electronic Payment Service Provider. It offers a payment gateway for e-commerce checkout, no-code payment links and invoicing, a point-of-sale product (uPOS) for in-person card acceptance, developer APIs, and tools for recurring collections such as rent payments. UPayments serves merchants and service providers across Kuwait who need to accept and manage digital payments both online and in person, with apps available on the iOS App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery. In December 2024, National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) announced the acquisition of UPayments.
