TPAY Mobile is a mobile payments company that operates a direct carrier billing (DCB) platform, letting consumers pay for digital content and services by charging their mobile phone bill or prepaid balance instead of using a card. Through a single API, it connects mobile network operators, merchants, and consumers, and also offers direct wallet billing, money transfer, and checkout solutions. Its clients and partners have included major global brands such as Google, Huawei, Tencent, and Anghami. The company was founded in January 2014 by Sahar Salama, who served as CEO before transitioning to Group Chairwoman in 2022, and is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with operations spanning more than 30 countries across the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. Shareholders have included Helios Investment Partners and A15. In 2024 TPAY partnered with Geidea to expand digital payment services across Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the UAE.
