TESS Payments is a Qatari fintech company, founded in 2016 and headquartered in the UDC Tower on Doha's Pearl Island, that provides an online payment gateway and merchant acquiring services. It is licensed by the Qatar Central Bank as a Payment Service Provider and is a registered payment facilitator for Visa, Mastercard and NAPS. TESS serves banks, other payment service providers and more than 300 merchants across e-commerce, hospitality and other sectors, offering a hosted payment page, REST/SOAP APIs, Android and iOS SDKs, POS terminals, invoicing, tokenization, recurring billing and e-commerce plugin integrations. In September 2024 it received a foreign direct investment from Fingular, a Singapore-based financial services group, intended to help develop a fully digital, customer-first neobank in Qatar.
