Tejarra

Tejarra is an e-commerce marketplace based in Cairo, Egypt, focused on consumer electronics, IT products and home appliances. Founded in 2020, the company launched its tejarra.com platform in January 2021 as a combined B2B and B2C marketplace where wholesalers, suppliers and vendors list products such as televisions, refrigerators, computers, tablets, mobile phones and personal-care devices. At launch the platform listed more than 50 vendors and roughly 18,000 products. In mid-2021 Tejarra raised a six-figure seed round from venture capital firm Openner to grow the marketplace, and in March 2023 the company said it was targeting expansion into Saudi Arabia by 2025. Tejarra maintains an Arabic/English website and a mobile app listed on Google Play. Note: the tejarra.com homepage returned largely empty content when checked directly during this research (consistent with a client-rendered single-page app), so its current live status should be reconfirmed before publishing.
