TechieMatter is an Egyptian tech-recruitment platform founded in 2019 in Giza by Muhammad Abu Elgheit and Amr Medhat. It runs an end-to-end hiring pipeline for technical roles: sourcing and screening candidates, running skills assessments and expert-led technical interviews, and (in beta) handling global onboarding tasks such as payroll, compliance, tax and insurance for hired remote talent. The company says it sources candidates from 9+ countries and serves clients across 13+ countries, with more than 900 companies having used the platform. It is backed by early-stage programs including 500 Global and enpact.org and describes itself as a 'tech hiring arm' for employers who need vetted developers without building an internal recruiting team.
