talabat is an online food ordering and quick-commerce platform that connects customers with restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies in the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq. Founded in Kuwait in 2004 and now headquartered in Dubai, it is majority owned by Germany's Delivery Hero and works with roughly 65,000 restaurant and retail partners. talabat listed on the Dubai Financial Market in December 2024, raising about $2 billion in what was the largest technology IPO in the world that year.
