Sylndr

Sylndr is an online used-car retailer in Egypt that buys cars directly from their owners, inspects and reconditions them, then resells them with a warranty and a published condition report. It has expanded past retail into Sylndr Swift auto financing with approval in about ten minutes, Sylndr Plus for inspection and servicing, and a dealer marketplace working with more than 1,000 dealers. Founded in Cairo in 2021, the company raised a $12.6 million pre-seed in 2022 - then the largest in Africa - and a further $15.7 million in May 2025, taking total funding past $30 million.
