Pianat.ai (stylized PIANAT.ai) is a governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) SaaS platform built for the financial services sector in Egypt, the wider Middle East, and Africa. It positions itself as a government-to-business data exchange network that helps regulated entities automate ESG, risk, and regulatory-compliance reporting that is otherwise handled through manual, document-based processes, using data taxonomies and AI to validate financial and non-financial disclosures for regulators. The company was one of 24 startups presented at AUC Venture Lab's first virtual demo day, and has received investment from Fuel Accelerator, AUC Venture Lab, and Significa Ventures. Public sources give inconsistent founding dates (2019 in some company-data listings, 2020 in AUC Venture Lab's own materials) and some databases list a Redwood City, California registered address alongside its Cairo, Egypt operating base, which is common for MENA startups incorporated in Delaware.
