O7 Therapy
Arabic-language online therapy connecting people across the Middle East with licensed mental health professionals.

O7 Therapy is an Egyptian online mental health platform that connects Arabic-speaking users with a vetted network of licensed psychiatrists and psychotherapists for virtual therapy sessions. Founded in 2019 by Ashraf Bacheet, Ashraf Adel and Nader Iskander, the platform was built to offer culturally tailored mental health support that addresses regional stigma around therapy. Its services include one-on-one video/audio therapy sessions, an anonymous text-chat support service called Rassel, corporate wellness programs, e-prescriptions, drug management, and psychoeducational webinars and resources. Providers on the platform are screened through a selective acceptance process. O7 Therapy is available via iOS, Android and Huawei AppGallery apps as well as its website, serves users in over 100 countries, and accepts online card payments; some sessions are eligible for insurance reimbursement. In 2022 the company raised a $2.1 million seed round led by Hikma Ventures with participation from C-Ventures and Lotus Ventures, among others.
