Nice Deer is a Cairo, Egypt-based insurtech company founded in 2022 that connects healthcare providers, health insurers and patients on a single digital platform. Its web-based system digitizes health insurance claim processing, streamlines approval and disbursement of medical claims between hospitals/providers and payers, and uses AI to flag fraudulent claims and recommend medications based on patient history. The company reports serving roughly 950,000 insured beneficiaries and working with numerous hospitals and insurance payers in Egypt. Nice Deer raised a $1 million pre-seed round led by Cairo-based DisrupTech Ventures in 2022. In July 2025 it received approval from Egypt's Financial Regulatory Authority to launch Nice Deer for Financial Solutions, described as Egypt's first fully digital non-banking financial institution offering factoring services for deferred medical insurance claims.
