Nestrom
A field operations platform that digitizes data capture, workflows and IoT monitoring for field teams.
Nestrom is a cloud-based field operations and workflow automation platform founded in 2017 in Amman, Jordan by Yousef Wadi, Kanaan Manasrah and Shadi Al Shalabi. It began as an agri-tech product helping farm managers digitize field tracking and workforce management using Android devices and connected IoT sensors, and broadened into a general-purpose platform for labor- and asset-intensive field operations, offering zero-code workflow automation, digital forms, document generation, real-time GPS tracking, and analytics, with integrations into enterprise ERP and BI systems. It serves industries such as facility management, industrial manufacturing, renewable energy, construction, mining, and inspection/testing, with reported clients including Al-Shaya Group and Astra Farms. The company raised seed funding from Propeller, 500 Startups, Wamda Capital and Agrimatico, and was part of the second Techstars Dubai accelerator cohort (held at Area 2071 in partnership with Ginco Investments), after which it retained its engineering team in Amman while using UAE long-term visas to expand commercial operations toward Dubai.
