Nawah Scientific is an Egyptian deep-tech company, founded in 2015 and headquartered in Cairo, that operates a 'cloud lab' model allowing researchers and companies in more than 30 countries to commission scientific and industrial testing remotely, with on-site sample collection and courier options. It runs four business units: Life Science Research (its core testing and R&D platform), a Food and Agriculture unit serving producers and exporters with compliance testing, a Pharma division offering formulation and R&D support for pharmaceutical and cosmetics companies, and a Certified Reference Materials unit producing calibration and quality-control standards. As of its December 2025 Series A announcement, the company said it had tested over 1 million samples and employed around 160 researchers across the Middle East, Africa and Europe. In December 2025 it raised a $23 million Series A round to build a new R&D hub in Rwanda and expand lab capacity in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
