MooMe
Smart collars and a farm-management app that track dairy cow health, reproduction, and milk output.

MooMe (operated by the company Lifeye) is a Tunisian agtech startup that helps dairy farmers manage their herds using IoT smart collars paired with a mobile and web dashboard. The collars monitor indicators such as rumination, activity, and body temperature, which the platform's algorithms translate into practical alerts for farmers — for example, the optimal window for insemination, early signs of illness, or heat stress. Farmers pay for the collar hardware (reported at roughly €62 per unit) plus a recurring subscription for the software and advisory service. MooMe was founded in 2018 by Ahmed Achballah, who grew up in a farming family, alongside co-founders, and went through Flat6Labs Tunisia's accelerator program. The company has since expanded beyond Tunisia into several other African markets, reports more than 1,000 active farmers managing over 12,000 registered animals, and has partnered with dairy corporates such as FrieslandCampina. It has raised over $400,000 in equity funding to date.
