MoneyHash
A single API for businesses to build, manage and scale payments across the Middle East and Africa.

MoneyHash is a payment orchestration platform and payment operating system for businesses operating in the Middle East and Africa. Founded in 2021 by Nader Abdelrazik and Mustafa Eid and headquartered in Egypt, it connects merchants to multiple payment service providers, banks, and payment methods (cards, cash, digital wallets, buy-now-pay-later, bank transfers, and crypto) through a single integration. The platform lets businesses route transactions by rules such as currency, card type or transaction amount to improve payment success rates, lower processing costs and speed up market entry into fragmented emerging-market payment ecosystems. It also provides a centralized reporting dashboard and customizable checkout experiences. Clients cited by the company and press include Foodics, Rain and Tamatem. In January 2025 MoneyHash raised $5.2 million in pre-Series A funding led by Flourish Ventures, with participation from individual backers including former Marqeta CEO Jason Gardner and GitHub founder Tom Preston-Werner, to fund global expansion; it has also partnered with Saudi fintech Amwal to extend flexible payment options.
