It gives companies access to shared, pooled AWS Savings Plans and Reserved Instances without requiring them to make long-term commitments themselves, and uses AI to continuously analyze usage and shift workloads onto the most cost-efficient commitment tiers. Rather than a flat subscription, the company charges a percentage of the savings it generates for the customer. MilkStraw AI was founded in 2023 by Jawad Shreim (CEO), Anas Abdullah (CTO), and Ibraheem Tuffaha; it is headquartered in the UAE, with its founding team distributed across Dubai, Amman, Riyadh, Berlin, and San Francisco. The company raised a $600,000 pre-seed round led by Flat6Labs in 2024, followed by a $2 million seed round around January 2026 led by VentureSouq with participation from Ibtikar Fund and M Capital.
