Milango
Community management platform that gives residential compounds and clubs their own branded app.
Milango is a Cairo-based community management platform that lets real-estate developers, residential compounds, and sports and social clubs launch a branded mobile app for their residents and members. The app bundles a community directory, guest and visitor management, maintenance requests, access control, event management, announcements, and in-app payment of utilities, rent, and club dues. Milango began in 2016 as an internal service of Cairo digital agency Kijamii and was spun out as an independent company in 2020, when it raised a six-figure seed round led by A15. Its clients include large Egyptian real-estate developers such as Orascom Development, Emaar, SODIC, and Travco Properties, as well as social/sports clubs like Smash Sporting Club. In 2022 Milango acquired local competitor Circle, a property-management software company previously backed by 500 Startups.
