Laverie

Laverie is an Egyptian on-demand laundry and dry-cleaning service, marketed as the first dedicated dry cleaning and laundry app in the country. Through its mobile app, customers in Cairo-area neighborhoods including Maadi, Nasr City, New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed, and 6th of October City can schedule one-hour pickup and delivery time slots, seven days a week. Services include dry cleaning with a roughly 48-hour turnaround, stain removal, pressing, and treatment for shoes, bags, and delicate fabrics. The company is headquartered in New Cairo, Egypt, has been operating since 2018, and in April 2021 raised an undisclosed six-figure funding round led by venture fund A15 to expand its operations.
