A fintech platform that digitizes school fee payments and management for schools and parents in Egypt.
Klickit is an Egyptian fintech company, founded in 2017 by Saeed Talaat Hashim Ibrahim, Youssef Galal and Walid Abou Elnour, that provides a fees payment and management platform for educational institutions. Schools, universities and nurseries use Klickit to digitize billing, collections and financial reporting, while parents use its web and mobile apps to pay tuition and other fees through a range of online and offline channels (cards, e-wallets, bank transfer and cash-in points), via payment partners such as Fawry, Paymob and the Housing and Development Bank. The company has partnered with public and private schools across Egypt's governorates, including a large-scale rollout with the Ministry of Education, and has processed several hundred million Egyptian pounds in fee transactions since launch. Klickit raised its first funding round in 2021, led by EFG Finance and Camel Ventures (the venture arm of dfin Holding).
