Jamalon

Jamalon is an online bookstore headquartered in Amman, Jordan, selling Arabic and English books with home delivery. It was established on 10 October 2010 and describes itself as the largest online bookstore in the Middle East, with a catalog of several million Arabic and English titles and distribution reaching Jordan, Lebanon, the UAE and the UK. The company has raised outside funding, including a $10 million round reported in 2019, for a cumulative total of roughly $19.4 million. As of this research, Jamalon's own jamalon.com domain was returning a broken/parked page (SSL certificate mismatch pointing to a generic hosting provider and a 404), but the brand continues to operate: it runs an active storefront on the Abraa B2B marketplace ('Jamalon Books', reachable at jamalon-books.abraa.com) and maintains large, active social media accounts (an Instagram following in the hundreds of thousands), indicating the business is still operating even though its primary domain currently appears to be down.
