Intella
Enterprise Arabic speech AI: transcription, conversation analytics and voice agents.

Intella builds proprietary Arabic speech AI models for enterprises, covering more than 25 Arabic dialects. Its product suite includes intellaVX (speech-to-text transcription), intellaCX (conversation analytics for contact centers), intellaMX (media translation), and Ziila, an AI voice agent/digital human for voice-based shopping in Egyptian Arabic. The company reports 95.73% accuracy on Arabic transcription benchmarks, which it says outperforms general-purpose models from major cloud providers. Intella was founded in Egypt in 2021 by CEO Nour Taher and CTO Omar Mansour to address the lack of Arabic-first speech models. In 2025 it raised a $12.5 million Series A led by Prosus Ventures (with 500 Global, Wa'ed Ventures, Hala Ventures, Idriski Ventures and HearstLab), bringing total funding to $16.9 million, and it has since relocated its headquarters to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia amid the Kingdom's AI-sector growth. It has also announced a partnership with Visa to bring Arabic conversational AI to MENA financial institutions.
