Infinios (legally Infinios Financial Services B.S.C.(c), formerly branded NEC Payments) is a banking-as-a-service and payment infrastructure provider based in Manama, Bahrain. The company was formed in 2014 and rebranded from NEC Payments to Infinios in 2021. It is licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain as a payment services provider and card processor, and is a principal member of Mastercard. Infinios offers card issuing and processing (including EMV and contactless cards), digital wallet infrastructure, payment processing rails, and APIs that banks, fintechs, and enterprises use to embed financial services into their own products. The company has also moved into stablecoin settlement infrastructure, including a strategic agreement with Circle, and has partnered with regional banks such as Commercial Bank of Dubai to launch card and wallet programs.
