Ejari
Rent-now-pay-later platform letting tenants pay rent monthly while landlords are paid upfront.

Ejari is a Riyadh-based proptech and fintech startup founded in 2022 that offers a Sharia-compliant "Rent Now, Pay Later" service in Saudi Arabia. Landlords in the Kingdom traditionally require six-month or annual rent upfront; Ejari pays the landlord the full year's rent in advance and lets the tenant repay it in monthly installments over 12 months, with a service/profit rate built into the repayment reported to range roughly 5%-17%. The service is aimed at residential rentals and currently operates across 17 cities in eight regions of Saudi Arabia. Ejari raised a $14.65 million seed round (combining equity and debt) in October 2024 from investors including Partners for Growth, BECO Capital, Alinma Pay, Rua Ventures, anb seed, Vision Ventures and the Aqar platform, and has stated plans to expand into a broader real estate "super app" covering furnishing, maintenance and relocation services.
