Efreshli

Efreshli is an Egypt-based e-commerce platform for furniture and home decor that pairs online shopping with interior design services. Customers can browse and buy furniture and decor across categories such as living room, bedroom, dining room, home office and outdoor, or use the platform's "Design" section to work with a professional interior designer who curates a room or full-home design and matching product selections; the site also offers an AI design tool, themed seasonal collections, a gift registry and a B2B program. It carries products from more than 150 of Egypt's furniture and home brands. Efreshli was founded in early 2019 by Heba El-Gabaly, who previously spent nine years as a partner at the Egyptian furniture brand Eklego. In November 2024 the company closed a seed funding round led by Algebra Ventures with participation from 500 Startups, Dar Ventures and angel investors, and brought on Dina Elhaddad as co-founder and chief product officer; an earlier $550K seed round is also reported. The company is headquartered in Cairo and has both iOS and Android apps.
