Doxx

Doxx is a healthcare technology company based in Cairo, Egypt, that operates an integrated digital platform connecting patients with doctors, pharmacies, diagnostic labs, scan centers and insurance providers. Established in October 2021, Doxx describes itself as one of the first fully integrated healthcare platforms in the MENA region, aiming to manage a patient's entire medical journey in one place. Through its patient-facing app, users can book telehealth consultations, schedule at-home doctor and nursing visits, arrange lab tests and X-rays, and order prescription medication for home delivery. Within its first months of operation the company said it had signed up around 2,600 doctors and built a network including dozens of pharmacies, polyclinics, labs and scan facilities. Doxx raised a $1.5 million seed round in 2022 to fund this expansion. The Doxx Patient app remains listed on the Apple App Store, with a version update as recent as November 2024, indicating the product is still actively maintained.
