DeepEcho
AI software that guides clinicians through fetal ultrasound scans and flags key views in real time.

DeepEcho is a Moroccan health-tech company, headquartered in Rabat, that builds AI software to assist clinicians during fetal ultrasound exams. The system analyzes ultrasound images in real time to automatically identify and classify the standard anatomical views needed for prenatal diagnosis, and offers teleguidance so a remote specialist can support a technician performing a scan, with the company reporting screenings 3-5x faster than traditional methods. Founded in 2020, DeepEcho trained its models on a large proprietary dataset of annotated fetal ultrasound images gathered from clinics in Morocco and the U.S. state of New York, and has published related research in Nature Communications. In June 2025 the company received FDA 510(k) clearance, allowing it to enter the U.S. market, and in May 2026 it signed a partnership with the Moroccan government to integrate its AI into public reproductive-health services.
