Dapi
Single API for open banking payments and bank data across the Middle East.
Dapi is a fintech infrastructure company that provides a single API for open banking connectivity across the Middle East and other emerging markets. Its platform lets fintech apps and other businesses initiate bank-to-bank (account-to-account) payments and access real-time financial data, such as account balances and transaction history, without requiring end users to share card numbers or banking credentials directly with third-party apps. Founded in 2019 by Mohammad Aziz, Dapi was one of the first open banking API providers accepted into Abu Dhabi Global Market's (ADGM) Regulatory Laboratory, and has since expanded its payment-initiation and data-aggregation services to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, and Mexico. The company is backed by Y Combinator and serves fintech and e-commerce businesses that need bank connectivity and payment initiation without building direct integrations with individual banks themselves.
