Cipher is a Saudi Arabia-based cybersecurity company founded in 2018 by Thamer AlDhafiri. It provides managed security services including a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC), Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR), Cyber Threat Intelligence and brand protection, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) advisory, penetration testing and vulnerability assessment, and cybersecurity awareness training. It also offers proprietary tools such as Cipher AI, Cipheria and Auto GRC. Cipher says it serves more than 100 clients across over 10 industries and monitors over a billion logs daily. In November 2024, Saudi venture capital firm Impact46 announced a SAR 50 million (about $13.3 million) pre-IPO investment in Cipher, positioning the company for a planned initial public offering.
