Byit

Byit is a proptech platform that connects independent real-estate brokers and freelance agents in Egypt with property developers, letting them list and sell units from more than 450 developer partners and over 1,000 mapped projects through a single app. The company runs an agent-first commission model that shares up to 90% of a deal's commission with the broker who closes it, rather than routing sales through in-house sales teams. Founded in Cairo, Egypt in 2022 by Antoine Azer, Byit says it works with more than 40,000 freelance brokers. In late 2025 it raised a $1.1 million round backed by A15, Beltone Holding, and angel investors to expand into the UAE (via a Byit Ventures/Byit Capital entity) and prepare for entry into Saudi Arabia.
