Basma sells custom clear aligners direct to consumers: patients take a free online assessment, get a 3D scan at a partner clinic or use an at-home impression kit, and are then monitored remotely by licensed orthodontists, with treatments averaging about six months. Founded by orthodontist and CEO Dr. Cherif Massoud and headquartered in Dubai, it operates in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Lebanon through 16 partner clinics, and raised a $3M Series A led by MEVP in June 2021.
