ADVA
Buy-now-pay-later app financing essential services like healthcare, education and home needs in Egypt.
ADVA (stylized 'ادفا') is an Egyptian fintech founded in 2020 by Rania Gaafar, a former general manager at Careem Egypt. Described as Egypt's first online service-installment platform, it lets consumers split payments for essential services — healthcare, education, insurance, home finishing and wedding expenses — into installments with repayment periods of up to 60 months, using a buy-now-pay-later model aimed at underserved consumers who lack easy access to traditional credit. ADVA raised a seed round in June 2022 led by Sawari Ventures. In late 2025/early 2026 it was acquired by Abu Dhabi-based Maseera Holding (a 2PointZero/IHC subsidiary) to serve as Maseera's technology and data-analytics hub for North Africa; around the same time it was reported to be pursuing Egypt's first digital consumer-finance license. The consumer-facing ADVA app and website continue to operate under the ADVA brand in Egypt.
