Ziina

Ziina is a Dubai-based payments app that lets people in the UAE send money to each other instantly and lets small businesses get paid through shareable payment links, QR codes, Tap to Pay and a hosted online checkout with a REST API. It holds a Stored Value Facility licence from the Central Bank of the UAE and serves consumers, freelancers and SMEs across the Emirates. Founded in 2020, Ziina went through Y Combinator's Winter 2021 batch and raised a $22 million Series A led by Altos Ventures in September 2024.
