Resal is a Saudi platform for digital gifting, loyalty and rewards. Merchants use it to run loyalty programs, companies use it to distribute employee and customer incentives, and consumers use the Resal app as a single wallet for gift cards and loyalty points from more than 1,000 brands. Founded in Jeddah in 2016 by Fouad Alfarhan and Hatem Kameli, Resal acquired the loyalty startup Boonus in 2021 and raised a USD 9 million Series A in August 2024 from investors including Derayah Ventures and VentureSouq.
