Rain

Rain is a Bahrain-based cryptocurrency exchange that lets retail and institutional customers buy, sell, store and transfer digital assets funded directly in local currencies such as the dinar, dirham and riyal, with a simple brokerage app and a lower-fee Rain Pro trading platform. Licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain in 2019, it was the Middle East's first regulated crypto-asset service provider, and it added an Abu Dhabi Global Market financial services permission for brokerage and custody in 2023. Rain raised a $110 million Series B in January 2022 led by Paradigm and Kleiner Perkins.
