Rabbit

Rabbit is an Egyptian quick-commerce app that delivers groceries, fresh food, household essentials and restaurant meals in about 15 minutes from a network of dark stores across Greater Cairo, with a Rabbit Plus membership for free delivery. Founded in Cairo in 2021 by Ahmad Yousry, Walid Shabana, Ismail Hafez and Tarek El Geresy, it launched with an $11M pre-seed round and reports 1.4M+ customers and 40M+ items delivered. In April 2025 it raised a round from Lorax Capital Partners, Global Ventures, Raed Ventures and Beltone Venture Capital to expand into Saudi Arabia via a regional headquarters in Riyadh.
