Octane is a Cairo-based fleet payments platform that lets companies pay for fuel, CNG, tolls, maintenance and consumables from a single closed-loop digital wallet, with spend controls, fraud detection and analytics for fleet managers. Founded in September 2022 by Amr Gamal and Ziad Eladawy, it operates Egypt's largest fleet-payment acceptance network of more than 2,400 fuel stations and 400 CNG outlets, and raised $5.2 million in June 2025 in a round led by Shorooq Partners, Algebra Ventures and Elsewedy Capital to expand across MENA.
