Mantas is a DIFC-incorporated, DFSA-regulated managing general agent that sells parametric insurance for cloud outages: policies are triggered by predefined, measurable downtime events and pay out automatically, with cloud-risk monitoring and detection tools included for policyholders. It targets cloud-dependent businesses such as fintechs, SaaS providers and e-commerce platforms across the Middle East, Africa and North America. Founded in Dubai in 2024 by Basil Mimi, it emerged from stealth in January 2026 with a $1.77 million seed round from Nuwa Capital, Suhail Ventures, Plus VC and OQAL Angel Syndicate.
