Malaeb

Malaeb is a Bahraini app for finding and booking sports venues, mainly football pitches, and for joining open matches with other players nearby. Users can create teams, challenge opponents and reserve time slots, while venue owners manage availability and bookings through a separate Malaeb Business app. Launched in Manama in May 2016, it expanded across Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Oman and raised seed funding from Raed Ventures, 500 Startups, Vision Ventures and Inspire Ventures after a pre-seed round from Bahrain's Tenmou angel network.
