Little Thinking Minds builds digital Arabic-literacy platforms for K-12 learners, including I Read Arabic (leveled e-books, videos, games and comprehension assessments), I Start Arabic for non-native speakers and a KG Arabic program, sold to schools and to parents by subscription. Founded in Amman in 2004 by Rama Kayyali and Lamia Tabbaa, it is headquartered in Jordan with offices in Egypt, the UAE and Saudi Arabia and reports more than 500,000 students across 800+ schools in ten countries. The company closed a $1.765 million Series A led by Algebra Ventures and won the Queen Rania Award for Education Entrepreneurship in 2019.
