Lamsa is an Abu Dhabi-based edtech company whose Lamsa KIDS app delivers interactive Arabic stories, songs, games and videos for children aged roughly 2 to 8, alongside Lamsa LEARN, a curriculum and analytics framework for ministries and schools, and Lamsa Studio, an AI tool that helps teachers create lessons. Founded by Badr Ward, the company has offices in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Germany and Finland and says its app has been downloaded more than 17 million times, with Saudi Arabia and Egypt among its largest markets. It has raised more than $15 million in equity, debt and grants from backers including Global Ventures and the Mohammed bin Rashid Innovation Fund.
