Homzmart is an online marketplace for furniture and home goods that connects consumers in Egypt with thousands of brands, merchants and workshops, offering delivery, installment payment options and iOS and Android apps. Founded in Cairo in late 2019 by Mahmoud Ibrahim (former COO of Daraz) and Ibrahim Mohamed (formerly head of logistics at Jumia Egypt), it listed around 55,000 products by 2021 and launched in Saudi Arabia in November 2021. The company raised a $15 million Series A led by MSA Capital and Nuwa Capital, followed by a $23 million pre-Series B.
