Fawry runs Egypt's largest electronic payments network, letting people pay bills, top up mobile lines, buy tickets and shop online through the myfawry app, banking channels and a nationwide network of retail agents and POS terminals. On the business side it sells payment acceptance, POS hardware, lending and banking technology to merchants, SMEs and banks. Founded in 2008 and publicly listed on the Egyptian Exchange under the ticker FWRY since its August 2019 IPO, Fawry reports 53.1 million customers and a retail network of roughly 372,400 POS terminals as of December 2024.
