eyewa is an omnichannel eyewear retailer selling prescription glasses, sunglasses, contact lenses and blue-light glasses online, through its iOS and Android app and through its own stores across the GCC. Founded in Dubai in 2017 by Anass Boumediene, Mehdi Oudghiri and Abdullah AlRugaib, all former Bain & Company consultants, it operates in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman with more than 200 locations. In 2024 it closed a $100 million Series C led by General Atlantic, taking total funding to $130 million.
