elmenus is a food discovery and online ordering platform that lets diners in Egypt browse restaurant menus, read reviews and order delivery without phone calls, with live order tracking. Founded in Cairo in 2011 by Amir Allam, it serves Cairo, Alexandria, Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh and more than a dozen other Egyptian cities. The company raised an $8 million Series B in 2020 led by Global Ventures and Algebra Ventures and runs its own delivery fleet alongside restaurant delivery.
