Calo is a subscription service for chef-prepared healthy meals tailored to each customer's goals, with plans managed through its app and meals delivered daily. Founded in Bahrain in 2019 by Ahmed Al Rawi and Moayed Al Moayed, it is now headquartered in Riyadh and operates in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait, with a UK launch underway. The company reports 280,000 customers and 18 million meals delivered, and raised a $64 million Series B (a $25 million round led by Nuwa Capital in December 2024 plus a $39 million extension led by AlJazira Capital in 2025).
