ArabiaWeather (طقس العرب) is a private weather company that publishes hourly and 14-day forecasts, satellite imagery and weather alerts for more than 5,000 locations across the Middle East and North Africa through its website and iOS/Android apps, and sells forecasting and decision-support services to aviation, energy, agriculture and media clients. Founded in Amman in 2006 by Mohammed Al-Shaker, it has raised funding from Silicon Badia, Wamda Capital, Jabbar Internet Group and DASH Ventures, and reported 35 million users at the time of its 2015 Series A.
